The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State yesterday kicked against an alleged plan by Governor Adams Oshiomhole to represent a supplementary budget of N5 billion to the House of Assembly few days to the end of his tenure.
The PDP also accused the governor of hurriedly paying for contracts without due process.
The PDP state chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, who spoke at the weekend in Benin during a briefing, advised Governor Oshiomhole not to plunge the state into indebtedness with the presentation of N5bn supplementary budget.
Orbih urged the governor to take President Muhammadu Buhari on a facility tour of his private residence to prove that the present anti-corruption war is not selective.
