Edo police arrest 118 suspects in 1 month

The Edo State Police Commissioner, Haliru Gwandu yesterday, said 118 suspects have been arrested by the command between August and September this year.

Mr. Haliru who disclosed this while parading 55 suspects criminals, said the suspect were arrested for alleged armed robbery, murder, cultism, human trafficking  and kidnapping.

According to the commissioner, 27 firearms and 61 live cartridges were recovered from the suspects, adding that out of the numbers, 16 kidnappers were arrested while four victims were rescued from the kidnappers.
