Officials of the Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) have arrested an illegal revenue collector, one Oghomen Osagie, for extorting motorists on Oba Market Road in Benin City.

Speaking with journalists in Benin yesterday, PUWOV’s Commander, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie, said, “We received a distress call from a concerned Edo citizen, which led to the discovery and arrest of one Oghomen Osagie, an illegal revenue collector, who specialises in extorting motorists.”
