The Edo State Government has commenced a 10-day training for 1,500 operatives of the Edo State Security Vigilante Network (ESSVN), including hunters, as part of an effort to beef up the state’s security architecture and effectively combat crime.

City & Crime reports that the training is the third batch of vigilantes trained across the three senatorial districts on weapons handling, intelligence gathering, among others.
