Edo varsity gets ICAN certification

Edo University Iyamho (EUI) has gotten the nod of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) to run the institute’s certificate courses.

A statement  by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Aluyor, said the university received the ICAN certificate during the 2019 award of ICAN accreditation and recognition certificate ceremony, held in Lagos.

President of the institute, Alhaji Razaq Adeleke Jaiyeola, said the ICAN accredited certificate was an endorsement of the university’s capability to provide effective training for would-be chartered accountants.

Alhaji Jaiyeola said  accreditation certificates were also given to 23 other universities, 14 polytechnics, three colleges of education and 19 tuition centres.
