The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has cast his vote in the ongoing governorship election in the state.
Obaseki, who arrived at his polling unit 19, Ward 4 located inside Emokpae Primary School, Benin City in Eredo Local Government, was accredited. He cast his vote in less then 10 minutes.

Speaking after voting, Obaseki expressed satisfaction on the election process, urging INEC to ensure that collation of votes is seamless.
He also applauded voters for coming out despite the downpour to exercise their franchise.
