Provision of functional educational system is one of the major solutions to insecurity and youth unemployment in the country, a sociologist, Dr Umar Abubakar Kari, has said.
Dr. Kari a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Abuja, made the remark in an interview with Daily Trust, yesterday.
He said that if students got sound education and training on skills acquisition they would be useful to the society.
“Part of the solution to insecurity and unemployment lies on sound and functional educational system that requires necessity for training and skills acquisition so that if the students graduate they can be on their own and be useful to the society,” he said.
