The National President, Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Umma-Kalsum Tukur Buratai, has said NAOWA College was created to compliment the Federal Governments efforts in the area of education.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja during the commissioning of the NAOWA College students hostel, Shopping complex, four 18-seater school buses and worship centres, said the projects were conceived out of deep-rooted desire to improve the quality of education in the country.

According to her, the school started in 2013 by the then National President, Mrs Gift Ihejirika, with nine students but presently has over 200 students hence the need to build a 200-bed capacity hostel, introduction of British/Nigerian curricula among others to instill strong moral principles.

Wife of the Nasarawa State Governor, Mrs. Mario Al-Makura said the commissioning of the hostel will boost learning.
