Chairman, Centagon International School, Abuja, Sir Lucky Omoluwa, said for Nigeria to attain greater position, education should not be left with government alone.
Speaking to Daily Trust shortly after the first graduation ceremony of the school in Maitama, Abuja, Omoluwa said without individuals’ participation in education, Nigeria’s educational standard would remain low.
He asserted that it is only when many good schools are established that the already fallen standard of education can be raised.
 “Establishing a very good school is not only about having huge money, but also passion and dedication. It is about getting good hands that can run it efficiently and copying from countries with the best education systems and implementing same in your school.
“If more Nigerians with passion and dedication can establish more good schools it will uplift our education system. Unless individuals contribute in the system, its standard will not improve,” he said.
The Centagon School’s proprietress, Mrs. Orumenosen Omoluwa, said the school had one of the best results in all national examinations its students took.
