The Chairman of Magajin Malam Educational consultancy service, Malam Yakubu Adamu has described the death of late AVM Mukhtar Muhammad and Alhaji Tijjani Ado Ahmad as great loss to the journalism profession and the country in general.

“People would continue to remember AVM Mukhtar Muhammad as a peace coordinator, an exemplary leader and a great pillar of the North.  He is trustworthy, God fearing person who not only served thenorth but Nigeria as well,” Yakubu said.

The death of the statesman had left a vacuum which would be difficult to fill, noting that late Muhammad had contributed immensely in the media circle by establishing the first private radio station in the north.

Turning to the death of late Tijjani Ado, Adamu described the late journalist as a simple, humane and hardworking young journalist.
