The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is planning to declare the impeached former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako wanted over allegations of misappropriation of State funds, Daily Trust learnt today.

A top EFCC source told Daily Trust that the anti graft agency has decided to declare the embattled ex-governor wanted, because he has been elusive after being trailed for several days by operatives looking to arrest him.

Operatives of the Commission had been deployed to Yola the Adamawa State Capital and Abuja to arrest the former governor shortly after he was impeached by the State Assembly.
