The challenges facing tertiary institutions in Nigeria as a result of poor funding could be addressed through effective Internal Revenue Generation (IGR), former Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, Professor Ibrahim A. Kolo, has said.
He made the assertion during a pre-convocation lecture at the Federal Polytechnic Bida
He said tertiary institutions have over the years faced inadequate funding because economic growth was constrained by declining fortunes, adding that the effective IGR would ameliorate the funding system.
