As Muslims across the globe prepare to mark the sacred festival of Eid el-Kabir, Hon. Najibullah Umar Tafida Argungu (PhD), the Santurakin Augie, a House of Representatives candidate from Kebbi State, and Chief Executive Officer of Sandpine Consultant Ltd, has extended heartfelt Sallah greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and around the world.
In his Eid message, Dr. Tafida congratulated Muslims on the successful observance of the spiritual season and emphasized that Eid el-Kabir is not only a time for joyous celebration but also a moment for deep reflection on the values of sacrifice, gratitude, and renewed devotion to the Almighty.
“Eid el-Kabir commemorates the supreme act of obedience and unwavering faith demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his family,” he stated.
“It is a period that calls on all of us to embrace selflessness, compassion, and service to humanity. We must reflect on our responsibilities to one another and carry forward these virtues in our daily lives.”
Dr. Tafida, who leads Sandpine Consultant Ltd—a firm focused on Human Resources Management and Development Services—highlighted the correlation between spiritual commitment and national development. He remarked that the timeless values celebrated during Eid el-Kabir are fundamental to building a just, compassionate, and inclusive society.
“We must translate the essence of Eid into concrete action—by caring for the less privileged, strengthening our communities, and committing to collective efforts that uplift society,” he noted. “Let us use this festive season to reach out to those in need, to heal divisions, and to champion generosity and empathy.”
He further urged Nigerians, especially the youth, to remain resilient, hopeful, and focused on the shared goal of national unity and progress. According to him, true nation-building depends on tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and an active citizenry.
Commending the role of religious leaders, traditional institutions, and civil society actors in promoting harmony and moral guidance, Dr. Tafida reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to people-centered leadership and inclusive governance.
“I remain dedicated to offering responsible, transparent, and visionary representation to the people of Kebbi State,” he affirmed. “Through youth empowerment, inclusive policymaking, and sustainable development, we can chart a brighter future for our state and our great nation.”
As he concluded his message, Dr. Tafida offered prayers for peace, stability, and abundant blessings for all Nigerians and the global Muslim community.
P“May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds. May He continue to guide our leaders, protect our nation, and grant us the strength to uphold the values that bind us together. Eid Mubarak to all.”
