The acting State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Kaduna State, Deputy Commandant, Ilelaboye Waidi Oyejide, has implored Muslim faithful to ensure vigilance at Eid-Prayer grounds and recreational centres during Sallah festivities. Addressing newsmen in Kaduna, Oyejide urged residents of the state to ensure high degree of alertness before, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

He advised them to be cautious of enemies of humanity who may wish to thwart the prevailing peace efforts to cause harm.

According to him, arrangements have been concluded to deploy no fewer than 5,000 personnel to cover every nook and crannies of the state to be able to respond promptly and timely to any threat.
