Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in the 2019 governorship election in Kwara State, Comrade Issa Aremu has congratulated all Nigerians particularly the Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud which symbolizes the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)
In his message in Ilorin, the LP Aremu observed that this year’s Eid-el-Maulud is significant, coming on the eve of the general elections in Nigeria.
According to him the Holy Prophet Muhammed symbolized the best of virtues; namely incorruptibility, honesty, love and good neighbourliness which he said Nigeria urgently needs, for free and credible elections.
He calls on all Nigerians particularly the politicians and their supporters to emulate the virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammed, PBUH.
The LP candidate said more than ever before Politicians need moderation and measured campaign that must unite the state around the critical issues of development in poverty eradication and wealth generation.
He said once elections produce credible outcomes and bring about poverty eradication, improved education, ban hunger and get jobs for our jobless children, then all Kwarans and indeed Nigerians are winners, not losers.
