Ekiti approves solar power for 21 public schools

According to the State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Taiwo Olatunbosun, it  is part of  the commitment of the Oni-led administration to the continued development of education in the state. According to the commissioner, the alternative source of electric power which would cost the state a sum of N67,630,500.00 (sixty-seven million, six hundred and thirty thousand, five hundred naira) would enhance the Digital Education Project and improve the education sector in the state.

The State Executive Council also approved that a bill to amend the Local Government Administration Law be processed to the state House of Assembly.
