Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice John Adeyeye, has pardoned 34 awaiting trial inmates during his official visit to the Nigerian Correctional Centre, Ado Ekiti.

Justice Adeyeye, during the visit, said 508 cases were reviewed, three released on bail, 22 were released unconditionally and nine others were released based on the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP)’s advice.

The CJ advised those released to sin no more adding that the long hand of the law is awaiting anyone causing public unrest in the state.
