Ekiti deputy governor lauds Globacom as new shops open in 8 cities

They described the company as a  forward-looking organisation which has made giant strides in 10 years of its operation in Nigeria, the company said in a statement.
They made the commendations while declaring open new Gloworld shops in Ado Ekiti  and Akure last week.  In addition to these shops, the company unveiled new hi-tech shops in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Lafia in Niger State, Dutse in Jigawa State and  Birnin  Kebbi  in Kebbi State. Others were opened in Gusau, Zamfara State and Jalingo in Taraba state on Thursday August 21st  2013.
Specifically, the Ekiti  State Deputy Governor said that since the firm started operations in theState, it has provided quality service to residents.  She noted that with the opening of the new Gloworld shop in Ado- Ekiti, the company will deliver world class services to the people of the state.   She assured the company of more  collaboration with the state government.
On his part, Oba Adebiyi Adesida commended Globacom for improving the socio-economic standard of Nigerians. The Monarch noted that since Globacom started its operations, it hasbrought so much value to the people of the state and indeed, made significant impact in the life of Nigerians. The Traditional ruler who was represented by Prince Lana Adesida at the New Gloworld shop launch on Oyemekun Road, Akure noted that the shops have added to the beauty of Akure town.
The Gloworld concept is built around delivering efficient service through a state-of-the-art technology platform to subscribers by well-trained staff in order to bring the company’s brand closer to subscribers.
