The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has inaugurated its special female tactical squad in Ekiti State.

The special female corps was established as part of measures to secure schools using feminine and mother case approaches.

The commandant ceneral of NSCDC, Dr Abubakar Audi, said the invasion of school environments across the country had become rampant, which necessitated the establishment to ensure security of the schools.

Ekiti Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. John Fayemi, advised the female squad to discharge their duties with dexterity.

The chairman, Council of Obas in Ekiti, Oba Gabriel Adejuwon, urged members of the squad not to compromise in the discharge of their duties.
