The Ekiti state secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been burnt by a mysterious fire.

Located on Ajilosun road, Ado Ekiti, the PDP secretariat went up in flames in the early hours of Tuesday, four days after the controversial primary election of the party.

Although no clue to the cause of the fire yet, it was gathered that the fire started around 2am.
Residents in the area said they had to raise the alarm when they sighted the mysterious fire which later attracted the fire service to put it off.
When our correspondent visited the office, some stern-looking policemen were seen in front of the office while there was no official to comment on the incident.
But the spokesman of the police in the state, Mr. Victor Babayemi, said the police had commenced investigation into the incident.
