The Managing Director, eKnowvate Solutions, Muyiwa Alawode, who described the company as a mobile and digital science company, said part of its corporate philosophy is to continuously identify various verticals within its space to see how mobile technology platform can be actually used to create improved engagement for their customers and their products out there. According to him, flockcare app was introduced to extend advantages of mobile application to evangelism as part of the eknowvate solutions belief.
He said, “We know that the church in Nigeria is a formidable force within the society and we see the opportunity whereby beyond using mobile platforms for businesses church of God can benefit from the global mobile outreach which actually spreading now across the world to reach members of the congregations to follow up on concerts and further engagement on members for messages that enhance their spiritual development.”
In terms of the security of the app, he said, “What we have put in place security protocols in accessing mobile applications, these protocols are standard and consistent to any mobile application that is deployed on Play store and iOS store. We are also subjected to strigent regulations and standards that are universal in deploying any sound mobile applications globally.”
One of the pastors in the ToD, Pastor Philips Otorimo, who is in ncharge of evangelical department, described flockcare as a working tool for the church.
