Winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Kaduna state on Friday called on party members and co-contestants to eschew bitterness and work together toward election victory.

The APC Kaduna governorship results were announced by the state Returning Officer Prince Ekenyen Nwafor Orizu. He said the total number of accredited delegates were 3, 557.

El-Rufai who is a former minister of the Federal Capital Territory scored 1,965 votes; Isa Ashiru had 1,379 votes while Salihu Mohammed Lukman scored 22 votes.

Haruna Saeed scored 127 and Shamsuddin Ango Abdullahi 25. There were 28 invalid votes.
