He also pledged to ensure social justice if elected to run affairs of the state.
El-Rufa’i made the pledge at a town hall meeting in Kaduna attended by hundreds of people living with disabilities. He said he will increase their prospects for employment and ensure that they start their own businesses and promised to unite the peoples of the state irrespective of religion, ethnicity and political affiliations.
“Let me say it from the main framework of social justice, we are all one and created by God for his own reason. Social justice is justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society. Social justice assigns rights and duties in the institutions of society, which enables people to receive the basic benefits and burdens of cooperation.
“And so, I wish to submit here that if elected there will be real social justice in ensuring unity, development and social security for all.”
