Kaduna state government has set up a task team for continuous education to come up with strategies, plans and programmes that will allow drop-outs and hoodlums have the opportunity to go back to school.
The state commissioner for education, Ja’afaru Sani disclosed this yesterday in a press conference, saying, plans are on top gear to provide free education to hoodlums and drop-outs in the state to return to school instead of fomenting trouble in the society.
According to him, the state government is coming up with a policy to improve the education in the state, disclosing that the
State Executive Council (SEC) has assigned a committee to draft an education policy for the state. "The committee has been given three months to submit its recommendations to the council," he said.
