Malam Jafaru Ibrahim Sani, one of the former Commissioners in the administration of Malam Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State, has declared his intention to contest governorship election under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Sani served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and later as Commissioner for Education in the El-Rufai Administration.
Mallam Sani has already picked up the forms to vie for the number one position in the state.

” We are trying to be among the contenders. Allah yayi mana jagora ( May Allah Guide us) ,” he simply said.
On Wednesday, he was sighted among other governorship contenders that attended a meeting where they agreed to work together to ensure ADC victory comes 2027.
Other contenders in the ADC governorship race include 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isah Ashiru Kudan, Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, Shuaibu Idris Mikati and Tijjani Ahmad.
