The presidential and national assembly elections were conducted peacefully in Niger state, though a low turnout of voters was recorded compared to the number of registered voters in the register.

The presidential and national assembly elections were conducted peacefully in Niger state, though a low turnout of voters was recorded compared to the number of registered voters in the register.


 
In Kofar Gidan Sarki polling unit, new Bwari of Tafa Local Government, only 359 out of 912 registered voters were accredited to vote.

The story remained the same in Bakin Kasuwa primary school II polling unit in Bagama A ward of Suleja , where only 405 voters were accredited out of 683 registered voters.


In Kofa Isa Gwamna polling unit Barikin Sale, Minna only 85 voters were accredited out of 1, 716 , while at Dogon Kowa polling units only 564 were accredited out of 1, 278 registered voters.
