President Goodluck Jonathan is currently holding a closed-door meeting with former Head of State General Abubakar Abdulsalami-led National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections.

The meeting, being held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja,  is also being attended by such members of the committee as Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Mohammad Sa’ad Abubakar and Archibishop John Cardinal Onaiyekan.

Others are Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh and Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah among others.

Immediately the meeting commenced at 2.55pm, journalists were asked to vacate the venue.
