The Embassy of Israel in partnership with Innovate hub and Unistream, has graduated the 2026 batch of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Bootcamp 2026.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Abuja on Thursday, the Managing Director of the Innovate hub, Gregory Ibe Jnr said the programme was designed to increase efficiency, productivity, as well as an avenue for entrepreneurs to build themselves for future resilient technology.

“This was a unique program in the sense that the AI was made for increasing the productivity of your business, not in the typical AI format that just looks to remove jobs and remove employment.

“This is an AI with the goal of actually increasing jobs, increasing the exposures that we have, increasing the efficiencies that people have. So, it’s a really special program.

“We have a great partnership with the Embassy of Israel, and this came about building that relationship between the government of Israel and Nigeria through us, and we’re one of their main partners and facilitators,” he explained

Also speaking, the Ambassador of Israel to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Michael Freeman told participants on the need to be innovative in boosting their skills.

“Your future is here and AI will not take away your jobs but it will help you to create jobs. And Israel wants to be one of the world leaders in AI in the next few years and also impact the knowledge to young entrepreneurs across different countries and we have made a decision that we want to share this knowledge with Nigeria,” he said

He added that the Bootcamp will not be the last as there are plans to expand so as to build a better future for Nigerian youths and entrepreneurs.

Earlier in his remarks, Dor Yaakov, Lead Facilitator Unistream, said African problems need African solutions which is why the Bootcamp was necessary.

He added, “There are global problems and challenges in education, health, agriculture, sustainability, and community and they are real challenges for millions of people around the world, which is why I am sure that we will hear about startups from Nigeria that succeed around the world and solve problems for millions of people.”
