The leadership of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has promised steady fuel supply during end of the year festivities in Kano state.
Speaking to newsmen, the state chapter Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Danmalam stated that arrangements had been put in place to ensure stable fuel supply during the festive period.
Danmalam said national leadership of the association had introduced changes in the oil sector which generated a lot of positive development in the oil industry.
He added that the issue of fuel scarcity and other related negative vices related to the sector had since being relegated to the lowest ebb as for over two years the perennial fuel scarcity had ceased to exist.
“Oil exploration is presently taking place in about five states and the country will soon resume exportation of refined oil. We have witness several administrations with various policies in the oil sector, but IPMAN is satisfied with the level of development so far reached by the Buhari led administration and the leadership of the Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru,” Danmalam said.
