The Bauchi state Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on people living with disability to key into the federal government Social Investment Programs (SIPs) to improve their living conditions.
Head of Media and Communications Bauchi NOA office, Shaibu Danjuma quoted the Acting Director NOA Bauchi office, Alh. Nuru Yusuf Kobi as making the call in a statement when members of Disability Awareness and Musical Services (DAMS) paid him a courtesy visit.
He said NOA was positioned to sensitize the public on matters of national importance hence the need to collaborate with the agency for quality mobilization of favorable opinion toward enhancing the wellbeing of the people living with disability in the state.
While speaking, leader of the delegation, Mrs. Victoria David said that the group started with 10 women in 2014 but it currently had about 650 members.
