Hajiya Hauwa Musa Ijakoro, mother of the Emir of Bwari, Alhaji Auwal Musa Ijakoro, has passed on.
She died on Thursday morning at the age of 69.
Palace sources confirmed that she died of a protracted illness at the Nizamiyye Hospital, Abuja.
The deceased had already been buried according to the Islamic rites.
Her demise came a few days before the presentation of staff of office to the monarch by the FCT Minister, Mohammed Musa Bello, billed for August 27.
