The Emir of Yauri, Dr. Mohammed Zayyanu Abdullahi, has appealed to the federal government to construct a bridge across River Niger in Zamare to link Yauri Emirate in Kebbi State with Rofia in Niger State.

The monarch made the appeal yesterday while speaking with Daily Trust Saturday in Yauri, saying if the bridge was constructed it would create a shorter way of reaching Lagos and that would ease way of doing business.

According to him, if the bridge was constructed it would also open a new window for agricultural revolution along the riverine communities of the emirate and beyond.
