It is clear that politics in Nigeria is based on material acquisition and deception.  And this is made obvious by the revelations made so far by the President Buhari’s administration.
Almost on a daily basis, we hear stories of corrupt practices by past political office holders.
When you look around, most of the super-rich Nigerians are either politicians or people who have held positions. 
Sadly, politics is now the most lucrative business in Nigeria, so much so that the younger generation no longer want to work hard.
These politicians deceive the masses with campaign promises that they do not have plans of redeeming.
Even the recent budget padding scandal in the House of Representatives is a clear indication that the politicians do not care about the masses.
They do not seek political offices to better the lives of the common man but to enrich themselves. I therefore call on all Nigerians to support the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in the fight against corruption.  Once we are able to tackle corruption, the country will move forward.
