The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, has called on the Local Education Authority (LEA) secretary, Mr. Danladi Bulus, to ensure he supervises primary school teachers in the area.

Sabo was speaking after he handed over 8,000 copies of exercise books for distribution free to pupils in the area yesterday.

He said the supervision should be devoid of victimization, even as he said erring teachers should be dealt with accordingly.

The chairman, who also donated brand new motorcycles to the LEA office, said it was to enhance the supervision of schools in the rural areas, adding that would also check teachers playing truancy.

Sabo, who later proceeded to lay the foundation stone for the expansion of fencing of the LEA office in the area, solicited for the support and cooperation of all stakeholders in the area in order to move the education sector to greater heights.

Also speaking, the LEA secretary of the council, Mr. Bulus Danladi, commended the council chairman for providing instructional materials to the schools, even as he reminded him of the need to provide a Hilux van that will facilitate supervision of schools in the area.
