It was a lot of music, food and networking last week when the German Embassy in Abuja celebrated Spring Festival.

In his remark, the German Ambassador to Nigeria, Bernhard Schlagheek said notwithstanding Nigeria’s current challenges, events like the Spring Festival celebrate and renew Nigeria’s longstanding relationship with Germany. 

He said, “The idea behind the festival is to have good music, good food and good vibes. We all know these are testing times. There are a number of challenges for Nigeria today, economic and election and others, but that should not prevent us from appreciating and renewing ties of friendship and solidarity between our two countries.”

Songstress, Rubunu and Cef took guests down memory lane with their performances as the band entertained.
