A prominent advocate for women’s empowerment, Grace Ometere Ayoola, has called on women across the country to break barriers and pursue leadership roles as part of activities marking International Women’s Day.
Ayoola, an entrepreneur and CEO of Trash Movers Nigeria Limited, said women must take advantage of emerging opportunities in entrepreneurship, governance, and innovation.
She made the call while reflecting on the significance of the global celebration, stressing that the progress recorded in gender equality must be sustained through collective effort and commitment.
The entrepreneur, who also leads TAT Fragrance Nigeria, noted that women have consistently demonstrated resilience and capacity to lead across sectors.
She encouraged young women to remain focused, determined, and fearless in pursuing their aspirations.
Ayoola also emphasized the importance of mentorship, urging established women leaders to guide the next generation of female entrepreneurs.
“Women must support one another, build strong networks, and continue to push boundaries in every sector of society,” she stated.
