Lagos Startup Week 2024 was a celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing together industry leaders, emerging entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts from across Africa.

By sponsoring Lagos Startup Week 2024, PressOne Africa aims to connect startups with the resources they need to succeed and the support they need to compete globally.

PressOne Africa’s vision is to be a key game changer in voice communication solutions for small businesses in Africa, with its first point of call being Nigeria.

They aim to provide robust, reliable, and scalable business phone solutions that bridge the gap between traditional systems and modern, cloud-based technologies.

A highlight of the week was the launch of PressOne Africa’s “Developer Program.” This innovative platform provides developers with the tools, resources, and support necessary to create voice communication solutions that can enhance business operations.

The Developer Program was met with enthusiasm at Lagos Startup Week, with participants excited to leverage its advanced APIs (application programming interfaces) and SDKs (software development kits).

The Developer Program offers a comprehensive suite of features, including:

Virtual Phone Technology: Seamlessly integrate phone capabilities into developer applications without the constraints of a physical sim card, ensuring flexibility and ease of use.

Advanced APIs and SDKs: Equip developers with powerful tools to integrate voice communication features into their applications, business solutions, or new services. This includes access to detailed documentation, pre-built code, and expert support to streamline the integration process.

Click-To-Call Functionality: Easily embed click-to-call features into applications. These features allow visitors to call business owners directly without leaving the app, improving customer communication and boosting engagement.

Automated Voice Notifications: Trigger personalized voice messages for reminders, alerts, and marketing campaigns, enhancing customer interaction and operational efficiency.

Voice OTP: Enhance security and user authentication with secure voice identification and one-time passwords (OTP).

Community and Collaboration: Engage with a vibrant community of developers and industry experts to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and provide feedback.

This positive feedback reassures the program’s potential to empower businesses of all sizes with adaptable and affordable tools to scale their ventures. Whether creating custom applications, enhancing business solutions, or launching new services, the Developer Program equips developers with everything necessary to seamlessly integrate advanced voice communication features.
