The long wait for government jobs is becoming less important for most graduates who are willing to put their talents to use after completing their studies.
However, unlike in the past when the course was only offered at the university and focused mostly on the theoretical aspect, now both theory and practical are being taken into consideration and it is offered in tertiary institutions.
Besides, students are privileged to choose a skill of their choice, and facilitators are made available with necessary materials and tools to put them through.
This privilege of choosing assists a lot because success comes when one loves what he/she is doing and this in return will give back the satisfaction that will give you success.
So many students are embracing the course with so much interest because it is something which benefit is not long term.
Sarah Moses said it is the best way to stay occupied and out of poverty as your returns through bead, soap, bag making or other business ventures will get you going.
She said it is the best thing to embrace as a student because after school you may need to pay huge amount to learn any of the skills.
She said if government will give those interested in establishing themselves soft loan, it will be quite encouraging.
