Enugu begins construction of new motor spare parts market

The Enugu State Government has begun the construction of a new International Motor Spare Parts and Allied Trades Market.

Managing Director, Enugu State Investment Development Authority, Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo, disclosed this at a meeting with the expanded leadership of the Enugu Motor Spare Parts and 66 Allied Trades Association, Coal Camp, Enugu.

He said the market would be an ecosystem that supports modern businesses, commercial and light industrial activities. 

“There’ll be facilities like modern shops and warehouses, police post, fire protection architecture, sufficient conveniences, banks, parks, school, health facility, union centres, recreational facilities and other things that  will enable business growth,” he stated.

President, Enugu Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association, Mike Nomeh, said: “We’ve been praying for this since  previous administrations, but thank God a visionary governor is fulfilling his promises to us. We’re looking forward to finding ourselves in this promise land.
