The police in Enugu State said a man who allegedly stabbed a woman to death in Amegu Ejona Orba community in Udenu Local Government Area has been arrested.
State police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the arrest in a statement, said, “On March 11, at about 10:30pm, one Chigozie Ugwu allegedly stabbed his victim, identified as Nwoye Arua, about 35 years, with a knife over a yet to be established reason and escaped to avoid arrest.”
Amaraizu said following the complaint made to the police at Udenu, the operatives arrested the fleeing suspect.
