Disclosing this yesterday to sports writers in Enugu, coordinator in charge of the zone, Mr. Stanley Okebugwu, said the event billed for 9th  and 10th  July 2012, is organized for talent hunt, adding that it would afford participating athletes opportunity of exhibiting their hidden talent.

“You will recall that Enugu state just concluded secondary schools sports festival for government owned schools, students in private schools were excluded”.

“This mini sports festival we are organizing will afford athletes in private schools the opportunity to showcase their talents.”

He announced that the competition which would take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, would feature several sports such as athletics, basketball, volleyball, and football, stressing that his office had put necessary structures in place to ensure a successful exercise.
