Apostle Dr. Monday Enwere has passionately called on Hon. Nkeiru Onyejeocha to contest for the Isikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency seat in 2027.
Dr. Enwere, who serves as the National President of the Isuochi Indigenous Ministers Association and the International Director of Programs for the Christian Association of Igbo Ministers Worldwide, expressed deep nostalgia for the constituency’s past glory.
He described the February 25, 2023, election as a turning point that led to an era of impunity, diminished integrity, setbacks for women’s dignity, and overall poor governance. According to him, this period marked the loss of strategic development projects that had previously uplifted the constituency.
The cleric particularly lamented the stalled Aircraft Maintenance School in Isuochi, contrasting it with the current prevalence of minor market shed projects in place of the multimillion-dollar infrastructure initiatives that once defined the region.
Dr. Enwere urged Hon. Onyejeocha’s supporters to actively appeal to her to return and restore the constituency’s lost progress.
He called upon women, youths, and religious leaders to unite, mobilize, and personally reach out to Hon. Onyejeocha, urging her to reclaim the seat in the best interest of the people of Isikwuato and Umunneochi.
