Poets in Nigeria (PIN) is set to host a literary event that will include poets like Eriata Oribhabor, the PIN president, Professor Francis Egbokhare, Servio Gbadamosi the 2016 winner of  the ANA Poetry Prize 2016, in attendance.

The event, which is set to take place on July 27 at University of Ibadan will also gather writers, visual artists, literary critics and literary enthusiasts.

There will be competitions ranging from a poetry slam to an oratory contest. Also, the event will be spiced with a stage performance of ‘Frantic Vultures’ by Gabriel Okonkwo, directed by Raji Joseph.

Other guest poets include Ndubuisi Martins, Kolade Olanrewaju Freedom, Olatunde Busayo, Ibrahim Odugbemi, Adejumo Uthman Ajibola among others.

PIN is a literary group dedicated to the growth of Literature in Nigeria. Over the years, it has been able to organize literary events across states in the country.
