Essiet is recording a new album which includes the new single, ‘Freedom Train’; a song which marks a strong return for him and upcoming hip-hop artiste StyLis.
‘Freedom Train’ was released on April 30, 2013 worldwide via iTunes as the full album would be released later in the year.
‘The Mandators ‘were initially made up of Victor Essiet and his wife, Peggy, who died a few years after the duo split. In 1979 they first emerged on the Nigerian music with their debut album, ‘Sunrise’ followed by ‘Imagination’ three years later.
