Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state, Augustine Ojiezele, has been honored with a Doctorate Degree from Estag University, Benin Republic.

A statement by his chief press secretary, Hon. Hamza Auta Mohammed, said he “extends heartfelt gratitude to Estag University in Benin Republic for conferring upon him the prestigious honorary doctorate degree.”

He said Ojiezele firmly believes that the bestowed title will greatly contribute to his forthcoming gubernatorial campaign in Edo State set for 2024.

“The coveted honorary doctorate degree, which was bestowed upon Dr. Ojiezele by Estag University, serves as a testament to his exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions to society. Being recognized for his unwavering commitment to public service, leadership, and the betterment of his community deeply humbles him.

“Throughout his remarkable career, Dr. Ojiezele has consistently demonstrated exemplary dedication and an unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Edo State. With this honorary recognition, he perceives an even stronger platform from which to address the pressing issues that face Edo State in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.”

Ejiezele, while acknowledging the University for the prestigious honorary promised to strengthen the education sectors in the area infrastructure, social amenities jobs creations agricultural security and economy development for the good of Edo state and Nigeria at large.

According to him, Dr. Augustine Ojiezele firmly believes that the honorary doctorate degree from Estag University will serve as a testament to his expertise, capability, and profound understanding of the challenges confronting Edo State.
