Estate valuers registration board inaugurated

The newly reconstituted (ESVARBON) has as chairman Elder W.O. Odudu. Other members are: M.M.U Okolo-Ebube, T.O. Onaeko, Alhaji Hassan Kibiya, I.U. Akpan, Igbraye Uranta, Emeka Eleh, Kunle Awolaja and Chief P.C. OZili.
Other includes:  Dr. Wande One, Dr. Joachim Onyike, Eugene Oleru, Alhaji R.A Quadri, P.I. Una, Alhaji M.L. Buba, Adamu D. Kasimu, Dr. A.C. Otegbulu, Dr.  C.O. Aniagolu, Dr. I.I. Kakulu and  J.M. Gambo.
Speaking while inaugurating the 20 board members, the minister charged the new board members to maintain very high moral and professional standards in discharging their duties.
“You must treat quickly and seriously issues of misconduct, incompetence, non or ill-performance brought to your attention without fear or favour. By this, your appointment would have been justified and the nation served better,” he said.
He assured that the ministry will do its best to support the board`s efforts and participation in the transformation of the built environment in Nigeria.
The board’s main responsibility is to determine who is qualified to be an estate surveyor and valuer and to generally regulate the practice of the profession in Nigeria.
