The board of one of Nigeria’s oil and gas companies, Eterna Plc, has appointed Mr Abiola Lukman Lawal as the successor to the outgoing Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Benjamin Nwaezeigwe, who resigned from his position after two years of service to the company.
The board thanked Mr Nwaezeigwe for his significant contributions to the company during his tenure.
Mr Lawal’s appointment takes effect on April 15, 2024.
In a statement, Mr Lawal, an oil executive and renowned economist, has a proven record of positive performance in executive leadership at multiple C-Suite level roles locally and internationally.
