Etisalat has launched a mobile prepaid service package, Cliqlite into the Nigerian market.
The new product comprises a tablet bundled with a special data plan, providing access to selected educational and entertainment applications.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Nigeria, Mr Mathew Willsher, the cliqlite tab is an educational tablet with preloaded apps for learning and interactive lessons. it also has a parental control app preloaded, so parents can monitor their children’s online activities.
“Etisalat is more than a network, we believe in education. Due to this, we have Etisalat merit award for students. Today, we are delighted to launch a new innovation to make future generations to have access to information and learning materials”, Wilshere added.
The service is targeted at children within the ages of 8 -15 years old, with features like browsing a wide range of educational materials from selected educational websites, including Jamb Online, WaecDirect, etc.
