The Etsu Kwali, Alhaji Shaban Audu Nizazo III, has turbaned four village chiefs whose appointments were earlier approved by the Chairman of Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Danladi Chiya.

The three new village chiefs and district head are Yusuf Etsu Piri (Gumbo), Isah Audu Nyani (Sheda), Dantani Shandawo Yakubu (Yangoji) and Yusuf Yamawo (Kwaita) respectively.

Alhaji Shaban charged them to maintain peaceful co-existence among their subjects, especially between farmers and herdsmen.

The chairman of the council, Mr Chiya, said his administration had always ensured merit in the appointment of chiefs and other traditional officers in the council.
