The Etsu of Bwari, Alhaji Ibrahim Yaro, has appealed to the Minister of State for FCT, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, to open up rural roads in Bwari to enable farmers access to transport their crops to the market.
Alhaji Yaro, who made the call while speaking with newsmen in his palace on Tuesday, also called on the FCT Administration to link Bwari Road to Mpape which, he said, shared boundary with Kaduna and Nasarawa states.

He also noted that the chiefdom had experienced calm, which he attributed to the hard work of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bwari, CSP Biodun Makanjuola and members of the vigilante group, who have taken on hoodlums and criminals in the area.
The Etsu of Bwari said he enjoyed the support and cooperation of district heads and the over 100 village chiefs for the smooth administration of the chiefdom.
He pointed out that Bwari area council has remained the most peaceful area council in the FCT after the 2017 violence which, he said, was a result of his constant preaching on peaceful coexistence and love for one another irrespective of religious and ethnic differences.
He, therefore, called on youths to shun violence, embrace peace and be law-abiding to constituted authorities in the area.
He also urged them to embrace education to be able to contribute to the development of the council.
